Objectives
The EU copper sector needs lifelong learning courses to address challenges such as sustainability and new technological & market developments.
SkiComCu aims to bridge this gap by providing skills for sustainable practices, communication, problem solving, and new technologies.
The course is directed to current & future staff in the roles of Foremen & Operational Staff, Professionals & Office Staff, Managers & Senior Professionals and HR personnel.
SkiComCu is aligned with the EIT RawMaterials’ vision to further position the sectors of raw and advanced materials as a major competitive strength for Europe, by ensuring the constantly updated and therefore securely efficient provision of lifelong learning akin to the cost-efficient, sustainable and innovative use of raw materials (in the case of SkiComCu, copper) from secure and traceable sources:
- SkiComCu is a strategic lifelong learning programme for EU territories because it addresses the need to increase the innovativeness of all EIT territories, with an emphasis on EIT RIS territories;
- SkiComCu aims to address all strategic objectives of the EIT Raw Materials agenda for the 2021-2027 period.
